Under the recently signed framework in Rome last December between H.E. Abdisaid Muse Ali, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mr. Marco Minniti, Chairman of MED-Or Leonardo Foundation, in the presence of H.E Luigi Di Maio, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and H.E Abdullahi Abukar Haji, Minister of Education, to establish partnerships with reference to educational and cultural initiatives, the Federal Government of Somalia is pleased to share that a number of scholarships have been offered to Somali students graduated from the Somali National University (SNU).
Scholarships include one-year specialization courses in Medicine and masters’ courses in the fields of Security and Human Rights, Mechanical Engineering, Forestry, Environmental studies, and Circular economy.
The courses are aligned to the needs of Somalia’s public and private sectors. The Federal Government of Somalia conveys its gratitude to MED-Or Leonardo Foundation and the Italian Government for the invaluable support to graduate students of the highest caliber from across Somalia.
